THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN DESIGNING HOTEL FUNITURE & INTERIOR
A good idea is the first step to creating. As a hotel owner, you have a desire to design your hotel furniture in a unique way that will help you to create a customer-friendly atmosphere at your hotel.
No doubt, you also want it to be unique and look stunning with the right furniture and decor that will attract more customers.
While planning the look for your hotel’s interior, there are a few tips to keep in mind. Here are a few points that we think will help you get started.
INDIVIDUALITY
There are many ways that you can make your hotel unique and stand out from the rest. This could be with colours, fabric selections, dimensions, and even shapes. These are all part of creating a piece of custom hotel furniture.
If you are unsure of where to start, not to fear. We also have a team of professionals that work together with you to help bring your ideas into reality. However, it’s good to start with a clear idea of what you would like to accomplish.
Custom furniture may mean choosing a ready made design and adding some changes, such as embellishments. Or, our bespoke furniture services also covers everything from conception until completion.
PRACTICALITY
Practicality is a top priority for any hotel furniture, whether or not it is custom made. While practicality should never be exchanged for aesthetics, that is not to say you can’t have both.
When considering practicality, think first about the space where you will place each furniture piece. How high is the traffic in that area? Are many guests likely to touch or use the furniture? If it is seating for your guests, is it comfortable? Is it located indoors or outdoors?
Ideally, our bespoke furniture helps you to combine both form and function. If you have a fascinating concept for your hotel furniture, you can speak with our team to help you bring the idea about.
QUALITY
Ensuring better quality is essential. Since you are able to design your custom furniture from scratch, you can be involved in each detail, such as the types of fabrics which are being used.
When selecting the fabrics for your furniture, it’s important to keep in mind the Martindale Abrasion Test or Martindale Rub Test. This helps you determine the quality of your fabrics and how long you can expect them to last. The minimum required to meet the standards for hotels, restaurants and bars is usually 40,000.
